"When we fell in love,
It was just us.
Full of hopes and dreams
and a world of possibilities.
I didn't know exactly where
those dreams would lead.
But I had a feeling
As long as I was with YOU
I'd end up some place good.
Even though we seem very different
From those two young lovers
Who looked into each other's eyes
and said *I DO*
I want you today
Every bit as much
As I wanted you then.
I'm still excited
About the journey
I'm taking with you.
I STILL know
As long as I am with you
I'm SOMEPLACE WONDERFUL."
This was the sentiment in my card from hubs today.
I truly am

Beautiful! Thanks for sharing. Have a great Valentines Day.
What a beautiful sentiment that was in your card!! I agree, it is a totally different journey now than when we all met our husbands 30+ years ago, but it is a wonderful journey now with children and grandchildren(for you), isn't it? I wouldn't trade it for anything. Have an awesome day!!! Love & blessings from NC!
So sweet!
Hi Nonny! I read your comment on Connie's blog. My husband had partial knee replacement on both knees last Jan and he has done extremely well. His only regrets was that he had not had it done sooner. He can now do anything he wants and is no longer bow-legged.
Let me know if you have any further questions. You can see pic of his recovery on my blog.

Happy V-Day!!!! I've found some bloomer panties with EC on them - does EC still wear those? The white kind with eyelet lace on the edges!!!! If you send me an address I'd love to send them to you! pattonkellie@gmail.com
That is so beautiful! Glad you shared
That is so nice and yes the journey has changed and it's still wonderful. I think he's a keeper Angela!!! Hope his knee surgery goes well next month.

This was a touching and endearing post. You have been through many years together. Did you mention that it was 35 years? It will be that many for us too, this year. You both look great and the love you share is quite evident in the words of this post. Wishing you many more years of joy and happiness together.
