Happy Birthday Mom!

Today is my mom's birthday.

She and my dad came for a visit on Sunday.
We went out to lunch and had a great Strawberry Buttercream cake.

Seriously. This cake is fabulous.

The buttercream is to die for.
They even tell you to sit it out a few hours before eating it.

To let the butter soften.

Oh yeh.

My mom loves strawberries...so she loved this cake.

Mom, I pray your day is wonderful.

Just like you.

I love you.

Oh, and she is in her seventies.
I hope I look that great in twenty years.

Don't you?

What a beautiful lady! The cake is so perfectly displayed and sounds like it was scrumptious! I do wish I could give her a box of the strawberries that I posted on my blog today, for her birthday. Maybe the seventies won't be so bad after all.

I wish I had a piece of that cake today!!!!! Yes, if we both look like our mothers in the future we will be fortunate women!!!

Did you make the cake? If not did you get it someplace that is a chain....I'm asking if there is a possibility that I could get that cake!!

Hugs to you today.

That cake is so pretty. I made Mocha butter cream frosting for little brownies...had left overs and finally got RID of it because it was toooo good.
I would not have wanted to be behind that truck of tires (o:
