Saddest Photo: *My Noman*

Here in North Carolina, we don't get much snow.
When we do get an inch, we make a snowman.
A tiny snowman.
And when it melts, we cry.
With our passy in our mouth.
It's sad.
My precious niece will demonstrate.

How sad is this?

Baby J's 1st Birthday!

Baby J turned one the day after Christmas! I lost all my jpeg pics on my computer when it crashed right after Christmas, so I am just recovering pics from others to share his birthday! J's mom wanted J to have a truck themed birthday. She made a pudding cake in the back of a large, toy dump truck. Baby J's smash cake was a smaller version of the large truck. The pictures speak for themselves. This is one precious baby boy. We love you baby J!

Monogram

Don't you just love a monogram? I guess I am a true southern gal when it comes to monogramming! If it has a letter on it, I love it! My daughter, G, just got a monogram machine. I can't wait for her to teach herself to monogram. We may be all *lettered up* from head to toe!

Of course, the cuter the baby, the better the monogram!

I Decided To Make My OWN Snow...Well, Sort Of

Since SHE has 10 inches, and it was 58 degrees here, I decided to make winter cupcakes. It was my first attempt at buttercream icing and it turned out great! Here's to snow...inside the house!

My Little Gift Wrap Corner!!!

So........I copied the little gift wrap corner on this blog:
http://sippycupsareforchardonnay.blogspot.com/ (Her post on Dec. 1)
She has a larger space than I do, but all in all I am so pleased with the results! I had a little corner in my garage with a table already there. My hubby added the peg board and drilled holes in unfinished shelves for dowels to hang the ribbon on. My jars came from WalMart and presto.....I can't wait to wrap a gift!! My sister, A.B. will LOVE this. She loves a container and an organized space!!! What do you think?????????? Click on the pictures for a better view! Still need to cover the table top.....but, it's almost done....and I love it!!

I Can't Take My Cards Down!!!

I can't part with my cards. Can't. Do. It. So, for now, they'll stay strung in my kitchen. If you sent me a picture card, you'll be prayed for. I'm starting at the top row, and each day one family will be prayed for. I'll work my way around until I'm done. All 35 of you....and then I'll take them down. Or, maybe I won't!!
