A DAY IN THE LIFE

So, I have a dear friend, Pam, who is also an AMAZING photographer. However, investing in people is what she does best! Pam loves on and cares for people well. I so admire her! Recently Pam offered to come spend a day/afternoon with my family. She wanted to capture our normal day of getting together. We didn't dress up or act different. We are who we are. We Also celebrate Poppy's birthday on the afternoon she spent with us. I want to share/overload you with some of the pictures from that day.

I am THRILLED to have a *day in the life of our family* in print and will treasure these pics always!

Thank you dear Pam. We are a normal family, in a fallen world, trying to love and make an impact. Thank you for reminding us, in pictures, of the blessing of family. We are eternally grateful.

I confess to knowing Diet Coke is bad for me.

That's why I feel guilty.

My DIL, K, made me a calendar for Christmas.

Day 5

I walked into Cracker Barrell tonight to exchange something.

The SMELL of bacon called my name.

I gave in.

Day 5 of the photo challenge is:

*something you smelled.* 

So, I ordered my bacon, got my camera ready,

and

ate the bacon.

I forgot to take a picture.

So, here's proof I was there.

And I smelled bacon.

 

I'm not too good at this picture thing!

I cannot imagine waking every morning without the hope that Jesus brings.

Hope is a wonderful thing.

She is my favorite E but I took the picture a few weeks ago.

ME in the pictures

How many pictures do you have of yourself?

Me?

Not many.

It's pretty awkward to hand your camera to someone and say

*Will you take a picture of ME?*

Ummm, yeh.

A friend's mother died recently.

During a series of events after her funeral, my friend took pictures....

of herself.

Having fun.

Laughing.

The way she wants to be remembered when she is no longer here.

She encouraged me to do the same.

I think I'll start laying my camera out at family functions.

I think I'll let everyone know to grab my camera and take pics.....

of me, of everything.

That way I'm not the only one taking the pictures.

The twins will never remember this happening.
