Good Grief!

How is it April and I haven't blogged? I know it's not the TRENDY thing to do these days, but, I have my blog printed out every year instead of printing out photos! So, I love to document things here! 

In January we celebrated my parents anniversary!

In March, Baby W was dedicated to Jesus. 

There is no baby boy sweeter than this one! 

What a precious baby #9 is!

Poppy had a birthday in February!

A shout out to him...........

He started WHOLE 30 last fall and has lost close to 50 pounds!!!!

I had a birthday in March...the BIG one is next year!

Hubs treated me to dinner at CHEF AND THE FARMER!

It never disappoints....and I even got to talk with Chef Vivian!

Our #2 grand had her art displayed in The Mint Museum.

Quite an honor for this baby girl!

Also in March we bought a *fixer upper* because we want to be

Chip and Joanna! :)

Easter came early this year.

Can you say cold and rain?

Repeat after me: Cold. Rain.

I host my family every Easter. 

There were 33 of us...16 of those were children.

Nuff said.

2015

2015 is upon us! 

I don't usually make a lot of resolutions. But this year I do have some goals. Short term goals are a little easier for me to manage. So, I think I'll take one month at a time. (And add a sprinkle of grandbaby cuteness along the way!)

January

~I want to read more.

I love to read! I use to enjoy reading a lot. Especially books that were a *series.* I would barely finish one and dive into the next. Along came Blogs and Facebook and Instagram and GRANDCHILDREN :)... and reading got put on the back burner. I miss it. My goal is to read three books in January. 

~I want to reconnect.

Because of things like social media, I have reconnected with people I don't have a day to day relationship with. I want to take the time to meet them for lunch, or send them a small gift, or at the very least, talk to them on the phone. 

~I want to CLEAN OUT MY ATTIC. I have said for YEARS I was going to do this….and I DID do a few things. BUT, it is my goal in January to get it completely clean. Here's to my toughest goal!! CHEERS!

Side note:

All 15 cousins on Christmas Eve at my Mom and Dad's house. She buys them all matching pajamas. It's a wild, chaotic, wonderful night. None of them are perfect but they are all loved. THIS is Christmas!

One Last Beach Post

There were 20 of us at the beach this year. I so wanted a picture of all of us. My DIL was gracious enough to tackle the task! (it's quite the undertaking.)

Happy Birthday Mom!

Mom is 76 today.

To me, she is just my mom.

I don't stop and think about her age or how she looks.....

I just love her.

My Beach Buddies and I were talking the other night and they commented on how young mom looks for her age.

Yep.

76 looks good on you mom!

December

December is here.

Comes every year about this time.:)

Along with it comes all kinds of things.

My dad has a birthday on the 7th.

This year was a BIG one for him.

So thankful to have both my parents.

My DIL took our family picture for our Christmas card. I will link the card when it's time for the Christmas Card Carousel....but, here is a sample of the pics.

It's no small feat to get everyone together looking at the camera...and next year there will be two more. :) They know how much it means to me to get a picture every year, so they put up with me. Thank you kids!

My gifts are bought and wrapped. I hope to spend the next two weeks baking and blessing others. I want to pass on the joy of Christmas and share the love of Jesus.
