Happy Birthday To Our SIX YEAR OLD!

This baby girl was born six years ago.

She was grand #2, 
and we welcomed her to our family
 with so much excitement and anticipation of what it would be like 
to be grandparents to more than one grand!

She did not disappoint!

Good grief! How could we NOT love this smiling angel???!!!

You know when you are expecting your first baby and you wonder if you could EVER love another one like you loved the first one? That's exactly how it feels with the grands too. And then, the next one comes, and you love just as big as with the first!

A is stubborn and spunky;
artistic and fun

 independent and feisty

and has an opinion on all things related to fashion!!!
She is gorgeous and humble 
and knows EXACTLY what she wants,

#TWO is FIVE

Of all nine of the grands, this one is the most *growny.* I think everyone would agree that she has seemed older than her age since she was just a teeny tiny thing! She is tall, strong willed, opinionated, feisty, original, smart as a whip, verbal, absolutely adorable and one of the greatest blessings I have ever received. She knows exactly what she wants and she doesn't waiver from that. A leader in the greatest way! Five going on ten is a great way to describe her. I adore this girl!!!

Birthdays and Dedications!!!!

February brings lots of birthdays for us. My father in law was 88 on Saturday!!! He is pretty amazing! He still comes to the office to work every morning! He is still driving and still working in his yard! He is so well read and keeps us all on our toes with current events! He is passing along some good genes!!!!! Here he is last week showing the twins what he can do!!

This is blurry because I was laughing so hard! He is 88 people!!!

My mom had a birthday in February too! We all pitched in and surprised her with an Apple laptop! She was very surprised and we were all so excited to give it to her! We had a nice lunch together celebrating mom aka *Nanny*….she is the best!

Baby S, and big sister, A, were dedicated to Jesus in February. What a sweet, precious time we had committing to point them to Jesus as they grow. We all feel so blessed to have the opportunity to love on them and show them Jesus and what grace is!

Hubs turned the BIG 6 0 in February! I surprised him with a party. I sent out invitations to his buddies and invited them to drop in during the work day at our office.  We had a great day celebrating him. He is very much a people person, so he really enjoyed seeing and talking to the friends who stopped by. Thank you to everyone who helped make his birthday special!

Oh, and look who is walking!!! One of the twins started walking last week!! He is 10 months and nothing can stop him now!!! Not even that pesty twin sister!! :)

Well, that was our February! Lots and lots of things going on! I took down my Winter/Valentine decorations today. I think it's only 19 days until spring…. and daylight savings time is next weekend! Bring on the buttercups and the longer days. This winter has done me in!!! Until next time…..Happy Spring!!!

On Monday, the 25th, this precious grandgirl will finally be

She has a huge amount of fashion sense

And amazes me with her opinions!

She was our second grandchild 

And we learned how big our hearts were

And how much love we have to share when she was born.

On Tuesday, the 26th, this adorable grandson will be 

THREE!

He has more energy than you can imagine!

And he has some of the best manners I have ever seen!

He was our third grandchild

And taught us how easy it was to love a grandson!

And how you cry EVERY. TIME. someone leaves to go home.

It's Birthday Time Around Here!

We celebrate THREE birthdays in the next few days!

Our oldest son turns 35 today!

It is our joy and blessing to call him our son.

We learned how to be parents when he was born.

He amazed us with his abilities....still does.

HIS baby boy, our first grandson, turns TWO Monday!

Baby B is a bundle of energy.

A beautiful boy.

An answer to many many prayers....

She has an amazing sense of humor and keeps us all laughing!

This Grandgirl Makes Me Laugh

If you remember from last summer, *Wisa* is a hoot!

She is not quite 2 1/2.

The girl is hilarious...and GROWN!

She marches to the beat of a different drummer and cracks me up!

If she doesn't want her picture made, a smile is hard to come by. 

And yes, her favorite Dis*ey Princess...Tiana. (Because she's dark.) :)

She will keep you on your toes and I have to remind myself that she is not even 2 and 1/2 yet.

She reminds her mommy to get new mulch for under the playset and asks her sister if she enjoyed art at school each day. She reminds us all the time that she is going to school next year and has even said what she wants packed in her lunchbox. 

She heard a song on the radio last week and asked her mom to turn it up because it was her favorite song.:)  I listened to her sing along from her carseat the sweet, sweet words about Jesus and I was reminded of how her little mind is like a sponge. She is soaking it all in. I pray every day that she sees Jesus in Nonny and Poppy and that we can be an influence on her little life.

Pray For This Precious Angel

Grandaughter #2 (in birth order) is sick. She has a stomach bug and now both ears are so inflamed they expected they might burst last night. She is one miserable 23 month old! If you think about her today, will you pray for her? She has my heart...like big time.

My Name Is *Wisa*

This is granddaughter #2. She is 20 months. The girl is hilarious.

Her name is A...... It begins with an A...but it is NOT Lisa. She knows it.

But, to be funny she tells you her name is *Wisa* (Lisa).

Last week in the doctor's office a lady asked her name.

She promptly said "Wisa."

Her mommy said "Your name's not Lisa. Your name is A."

A said "No, it's Wisa."

Then, she laughs.

She will finally tell you her name is *A*...but not before she teases you a little.
