*I Pray Just About As Much As I Breathe*

I have a friend who is going through a very difficult season.

Because I love this friend dearly, I have been on my knees for her and her family.

I try to check in with her daily just to let her know how much I care.

As I talked with her this weekend and asked her how her day had been, this was her reply:

"I pray almost as much as I breathe."

Whoa.

"I pray almost as much as I breathe."

Not only did that describe her hurt and her pain, it described a heart  for Jesus.

It described the way He wants our hearts to beat for Him.

It described her longing for Him to intercede.

It described  how much we need a Savior.

My friend's words reminded me of how pleased my Lord is with her

......and how we should all

"pray as much as we breathe."

Will you join me in prayer for my friend?

I just stopped and prayed for your friend.

I too have friends who are hurting and I'm up early praying for them. One just lost the love of her life. Several are dealing with cancer treatments. It's so hard.

I pray God will surround you friend and mine with His comfort and love.

Hugs,
Kat

Amazing how our God allows our hurting/sick friends to share HIM with us. I have a few friends hurting too and find myself praying more these days for them and others. I pray that God keeps putting names in my head to pray as I breathe.....glad to pray for your friend too!

I will pray for your dear friend. My good friend is going through a painful time now too, and it hurts to journey through it all with them. I like your friend's comment.
