So, I've been *low carb* for lots of weeks now, and except for three coconut M&M's (which, by the way, are FABULOUS and I WILL eat a whole bag while on vacation), I have pretty much done great. UNTIL Friday night.
Hubby and I went to a little soda shoppe about 30 minutes from where we live. We go occasionally and always love it when we do. It is truly a step back in time. They have so much to choose from...I just couldn't decide!
This is what I had for dinner. No kidding.
One more view, a little closer so you can see all the carbs! Go ahead, click on the picture!

Back to reality.

Oh my! I think little splurges are what life is all about. You can only be good for so long and then you have to indulge. The trick is to have the fun and get back on the wagon. No harm, no foul. It looks heavenly!!
I think that looks like a perfectly divine meal! And, what, may I ask, did you have for dessert? :)
yum! splurge is the spice in life!
Just a little added joy on the journey of life. It did make me smile this morning and I thank you for that. Happy Monday!!
So I need to know where this place is...it can't be too far away from us! :) The best way to eat a bananna split is to have it for a meal. I love some wet walnuts. Looks so yummy! A bruster's just opened in Greensboro and if you bring your own banana on Thursday a banana split is only $2. Haven't been yet but hoping to go soon. G and I made many trips to TCBY when we lived together! We sure love our ice cream. :)
have a great time at the beach...all this suffering thru low carbs will be worth it. :)
Oh my that looks good! WHat a fun place!
