So, yesterday was my birthday. Um, yeh. Anyway, I got a little notice in the mail that the good old mailman tried to deliver a package to my house. I wasn't home, and he couldn't deliver because there was postage due. On a package that I didn't ask for. Postage due. $1.17. Postage due?? I didn't order anything!
So, I sent Hubby to the post Office this morning. He pd. my postage due on a package I didn't order. Did I mention it was $1.17??? Anyhoo, I opened it, and to my surprise, it was a birthday gift....and a cute one at that! Looky:::

I have it on my desk at work. The person who owes me $1.17...I won't mention any names, but she is the mother of my daughter-in-law.

Happy 14th Birthday KiKi!!

KiKi (the name the little nieces call her) is the oldest of the younger nieces....does that make sense? Anyway, she is turning 14 today!! It seems like a short time ago that she was born! KiKi's mom, A.B., is my younger sister....by ten years!!! When she had KiKi, I felt like it was my first grandchild being born. I adored her...still do!From the time KiKi was three...until last summer, she spent time with me every summer. These pictures show her time spent with me....and how much she has grown!!

Mom turned 72 on the 23rd of February. She is a Great Grandmother!! Doesn't she look great!!

It's a Wonderful Life!!

As I type, I am riding in the car from PA to NC. (Thanks to wonderful technology and a Christmas gift from the hubby, I can use my laptop in the car)! We took our daughter and granddaughter home after a wonderful week! Last week was *girl's week* and most of the girls in the family met at my home for fun, food and fellowship. (Missed you Nanny, Amy Beth, Kendal, Anna, Macie and Mary Beth!) Here we are eating lunch:

My niece, J, and her two precious little ones, M and J, also came for a few days! Do you know how hard it is to get a picture of the three of them together???? The two year old is easy....she has *cheese* down to a science. But the 14 month old and the 16 month old....not so much!
My two daughters in law took some time off work to join us!!! We were so happy they could come!!!

Another niece, J, who is a hairdresser, not only came to visit, but she trimmed the kid's hair!!

My daughter, G, and her first cousin, J, grew up together. Now they are raising children together. The circle of life continues...........
