Where Were YOU?

I was at my desk in the office of the christian school where I was working at the time.

Where were YOU?

Same place as you and trying to maintain calm so the K5 students wouldn't find out what was going on--can't believe it's been 10 years!

Doug and I were sitting in the waiting area at THe Baptist...waiting to see his neurosurgeon following a 2 week checkup after his spinal fusion surgery. The whole office came out into the waitin area to watch it. We saw the 2nd plane hit and we knew it was an attack. His neurosurgeon was so overwhelmed by the events."and we were stunned...eerie feeling that I'll never forget

On the bus going to work, someone got on and said she had just heard it on the news, then a few stops later someone came on with the news of the 2nd plane, by the time I got to work the 3rd plane had hit.

I was teaching my class of preschoolers~ those little ones are now 14 years old. Little 4 year olds full of innocence. A mom came running back in to take her son back home with her. She could hardly speak english and I remember thinking that she said the stock market crashed ~ but I couldn't for the life of me figure out why she wanted to take her son home. She just didn't have the right words for the world trade center. God bless America. God bless all families who lost loved ones. I was lucky that day.

My friend and I were doing a bible study in my kitchen with out the TV on of course. She pulled out of the driveway and called me immediately to turn on the TV - and I sat there the rest of the day. The first thing she and I did was pray on the phone for our country and for all of the people trapped - I'll never forget it.
