When E.C.'s mommy had our second grandchild, E.C. was 24 months. To ease into the transition of having a baby sister, they bought her a baby doll....her first doll. E.C. has never really taken a pacifier, but the new baby (A) had been given some at showers,
so there were pacifiers in the house.
E.C. named her new baby

E.C. named her new baby
"Paci Baby"
E.C. and Paci Baby have become great friends. They sleep together every night and Paci Baby goes along for the ride on most car trips.
My daughter-in-law captured the essence of Paci Baby and E.C. when she got this picture.
It is a treasure.
A memory she will always have of her childhood.
E.C. and Paci Baby. December 2010.
P.S. Paci Baby does not have a pacifier.:)

How cute is this, and your blog, and your beautiful gran-babies!!
So cute.
My Mom brought Bree back a boy baby doll from Italy when Bree was about E.C.'s age. We named him Mario (he was Italian afterall). And Mario had a passy. If you took it out of his mouth, he cried. I still have him in with her other keepsakes. This post brought back sweet memories.
Hugs,
Kat
adorable!
My 2 girls never really cared for baby dolls....they had them, though. Just wasn't fascinated with them.
Good pic!

Thank you for the "apple" advice...I am going to use that for sure!! This is one reason I just love the blog world...having "mentors" like you who have "been there and done that" and don't mind sharing =) Thank you, Nonny!!
As for the headbands...your babies would love them...they are precious! They are by "My Perennial"...go to http://www.myperennial.com/ and you will find them (and also some crazy cute scarves for our size!!).
I appreciate your sweet words about my test results. Thank you for sharing in my news!!

That is precious, she'll love having that to look back on! :)
Thanks for the comment, it's great to hear from you! And look at your header full of beautiful family!
Regarding juice, I know what you mean about strange colors, some aren't as appetizing as others. :) Just throw some (red) BEET in, it makes everything PINK! Pink is always good! :)

What a sweet, sweet picture! I enjoy reading your blog and seeing pictures of your beautiful grandbabies! Seeing this picture of E.C. with her baby doll brings back special memories of my girls when they were little. ( :
Oh, and I got your comment about the 3 weddings within 18 months! Oh.My.Word! I can't even imagine! You are DEFINITELY an inspiration to me!
Oh, and thank you so much for your sweet comments about my new blog makeover! Hopefully it will be easier for my readers to read, too...now that the columns are wider! ( :
Your post reminded me of my 27 y/o's first doll(Cabbage Patch). Page went to college & Grad school with her and still hangs out in her bedroom. EC is beautiful (A is as well and the new baby is precious). Appreciate the compliments on the basement and thanks to my beloved slow cooker, dinner was 'real food'.
