He Knows The SOUND Of Your Voice

I've never stopped to think about Jesus knowing the SOUND of my voice. But, He does. I know He knows my name, but He even knows what I SOUND like. When I pray, I don't say "Hey Jesus, It's me. Angela." He knows my voice. He KNOWS me because I am HIS. I was upstairs at the Y one morning and I heard my husband's laugh downstairs. I knew it was him. I KNOW him. He didn't have to tell me it was him. I knew. Jesus does too. He knows your voice. Your name. Your heart's cry. If you have children, you know what I mean when I say you can pick them out of a crowd. You can tell by the way they are standing, or their arm motions or the way they tilt their heads. We are HIS children. He knows us. He can pick us out of a crowd. It's so comforting to know that He knows me by the sound of my voice. He knows me by my thoughts. He hears my heart's cry...and He knows it's me.

And because I HAVE to have a picture:

I am thankful He hears and knows the sounds of their voices....
Even when it's a precious cry!
