It's Sunday night already! Where does the weekend go?
Saturday morning hubs and I left out bright and early. We drove east three hours to the beach.
It's not what you think though.
We went to look at THIS:
Can you say exciting?
NOT.
But for hubs I guess it was. He needs it for work. He took it for a spin and offered to let me ride.
I politely declined.
When we returned home late Saturday afternoon, I attended a coupon class. I don't do coupons. I should. I really should. But we go to Costco for most things and I just , well, I just don't coupon. My friend, Renee', invited me. So, I went. This is what I have to say about it:

Today, hubs had to work the concession stand for the Legion ball games. All day. So, I went to see the new movie "Babies". It was interesting. I couldn't wait to see it. I even went alone. I don't know about YOU, but I've never been to a movie alone. It was fine, but I was a little disappointed in the movie. I mean, I KNEW the babies couldn't talk. But I thought they might have a narrator or something. There were no words spoken at all. (Well maybe a babble or two to the babies but that's it).

I've only been to the movies once by myself. "How to Win a Date with Tad Hamilton". I was the only one in the theater, so it felt like I was at home watching TV, but after I thought about it, it might not of been the safest thing to do. What if someone tried to get me! No one would know! Anyway, I love the clothes your grandbabies wear!!! Where did they get the little sailboat outfit? Glad y'all had a safe trip!
I have been to several movies this year alone....just happened to be by the theater and my husband was out of town....ot felt strange at first but it was really no big deal...and I wish I would coupon...just cannot make myself
Glad you had a nice weekend, even if you did have to go to the movies by yourself. I'm like you, I would have thought there would have been some narration. Oh well. Did hubby get his truck? Have a great week. We just had family time here, being lazy. I guess we all need those kind of weekends every so often. It was nice to just chill out, since the weather was not that great. Although it must have been very cute, a movie with no talking must have been hard to stay with. We had an average weekend here. Nothing out of the ordinary.
I actually like going to movies alone sometimes....usually in the afternoon.
I don't do coupons either...usually...but one of my daughter-in-loves is a champion at it and finds it fun.
My weekend was perfect. Beach on Saturday. Church, lunch, beach and then church picnic tonight.

Glad you had a good weekend. I haven't been to the movies by myself...I've thought about it but have never done it. I am so like you in the coupon department...although sometimes I do clip them but usually forget them. I put a couple of the $1 ones for things I always buy in my wallet...that way I may remember! :)
We had a quiet weekend for once...just worked in the yard and garden on Saturday and just relaxed on SUnday after church with a pot roast meal. Busy weekends are coming so it was nice to relax.
