A Different Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was DIFFERENT this year.

Wonderful.

But Different.

Everyone was *scattered* this year.

And I don't love that.

So, today, we celebrate.

We eat and give thanks.

Some of us will be together.

We are healthy.

We love each other.

We have a new baby.

And we know that in 2010

our faithful prayers will be answered.

And for that

TODAY

We will give thanks.

As our families grow, it is so hard to "keep it all together" isn't it? I felt the same way this year. George and I got to be with all of our children and grandchildren...but... not all under the same roof at the same time.

Enjoy your day sweet friend.
Hugs!

Thankful for all our family. Yes, we were scattered this year. But we have so much to be thankful for.
We will all be together Christmas and I am so looking forward to that. I love you all. Nanny

I know the feeling. Last year I got married, and this year my sister got married. So traditions have kind of been changed a bit. The hardest for me was not spending Christmas morning with my family, a tradition we held for 30 years!

My Pop always says, "Every day is Father's Day!" and it should be that way with Thanksgiving for us as Christians. Our lives should be about 'thanks' every day...for life itself!

Have a wonderful time today...God Bless!

Sometimes I feel like the older we get, the more things change and I'm not sure I'm good with that. Enjoy your day!

Life sure is full of changes...some good and some not so good. Through all of the changes, I wish you joys and blessings with your nonny roles, and your many other roles.
