Remember THIS post??? She just graduated from 8th grade........ with honors I might add! KiKi has always gone to a private, christian school. This is her last year there. Next year she will move on to public high school. It will be quite the change for her. I feel confident that she will do well. She is very disciplined and works very hard. I am so proud of her!
Her school had an 8th grade graduation ceremony. These pics were taken AFTER the ceremony. She was teary-eyed in all of them. I pray she will always remember that feeling and the years she spent at GCA. I pray too that she always remembers that the same Jesus that was with her at GCA, will be with her in her new school. I love you KiKi!

So cute...and just getting ready to take on the world! She will remember the lessons. It will be a big change to go fromm a Christian school to a public high school, but I bet she will do fine!

Love your new look on your blog! Your Grandchildren are adorable. :) A real blessing.
Being a Nana is the BEST gift I've ever been given! I really like your header by the way.
Awe! Congratulations to KiKi! And, I tagged you in my post yesterday. Play along if you like!!! Xoxo-BLC
Not a good song to listen to when you have a baby graduating from high school this week. It is beautiful! If I don't go on Thursday, will it really happen?
We are contemplating putting our #3 into a public high school. She has been at a private Christian school since kindergarten. She will be in 7th grade next year. Our other two went to public school all the way through and we know the benefits from both sides. It is just so scary to change schools at such a vulnerable age.
Keep us posted on how the transition goes. I am sure she will have no problems at all.
Mrs. Shelby asked me to visit your blog. You have created a wonderful journal to chronicle your family's activities. I keep pestering Shelby and Amy Beth to let Kendal and Anna stay here for school. We need wonderful families like yours to be a great school! I do believe that Kendal and Anna will both be successful wherever God leads them. I'm still praying that it will be here, though :)
