Yeh, I got hooked again this year after taking a year off from watching it! 

If you don't watch it, they are down to the final three contestants!

Lauren, Haley and Scotty.

I live in North Carolina where Scotty is from....so, I am true to the hometown boy! 

When there are only three remaining contestants, they get to go to their home town for a  taping of the show. Yesterday was Scotty's day in his home town of Garner, NC. He was singing a Josh Turner song and was surprised with a visit from Josh. Watch the video below.

A Great Read...Or Two!

I love to read! 

Often, I let the computer take over my reading time, so I haven't been reading as much lately.

When I read fiction, I love Karen Kingsbury books. But I also love Francine Rivers. (As a matter of fact, my all time favorite fiction book is *Redeeming Love* by her.) Well, tied with Wisdom Hunter by Randall Arthur. 

Anyhoo, right now I am reading a two book series by Francine. 

The first book I read was *Her Mother's Hope.*

The second was *Her Daughter's Dream.*

Both books were so, so good. 

Heartbreaking at times, but one of those *can't put down* series that's great to take to the beach!

THE Wedding

I watched the first wedding (VERY PREGNANT with my third child)

on July 29, 1981.

The whole thing intrigues me.
