House Of Littles

Hubs found this on Craig's List. He drove an hour to get it. Loaded it on a trailer. Brought it home and we *made it pretty.* There was nothing on the inside. Just an empty house. Hubs built the counter top and *sink*.  I still have lots I want to do to it....paint inside with chalkboard paint, hang shelves and pictures, etc. But here's a peak at

Cousin Camp Part II

Cousin Camp 2011

This week we had Cousin Camp at my house.

Before I recap, this was LAST YEAR:

Oh, they have grown so much....and we've had another baby this year!

I got them all matching tee shirts:

The oldest cousin just got her license the day before Cousin Camp:

SURPRISED IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!!!!

So.....our oldest daughter and husband had the first grands....girls!

Our oldest son and his wife had the first boy.

Recently our third child and his wife had some wonderful news....

Grandbaby # FOUR due in December!!!!

11 weeks.

Not to be outdone that his brother had the first grandSON....

And his sister had the first grandDAUGHTER..........

So, #s FOUR and FIVE for Nonny and Poppy!

No twins on either side of the family. Just Jesus.

The Birds

Don't hate me.

I am OVER the birds that have built nests in my ferns.

There. I said it.

It's not that I care that they are in my ferns.

....And that it makes them hard to water for fear of disturbing the nests.

BUT

I have to DUCK DOWN every. single. time. I go out my back door.

And yes, I have to use that door.

That mother bird is doing exactly what she is suppose to do.

She swoops down at me to protect her babies.

I would swoop to protect mine too.

But, please mother bird....

EVERY YEAR in my ferns????

True story:

I used an umbrella last week to walk out my door.

Pitiful.

Look Who is SIX Months Old Already!

Favorite grandson

He weighs almost 19 pounds......He's 27 inches tall......

....and he's off the charts for cuteness.

SO WHAT if I'm the Nonny........... :)

Flower Girl

Our three year old granddaughter was the flower girl in a dear friend's wedding last night.

We weren't quite sure how she would do, but she did GREAT!

So so proud of you E.C.!!

Preschool Graduate!!! A Precious Niece

Don't you love how PROUD they are of themselves when they graduate?
