Tuesday Tip

We buy lots of spinach/lettuce.

To keep it fresh and keep the moisture from molding it

this is what we do.

We put paper towels on the bottom and top of the spinach.

The towels absorb the moisture

which, in turn, keeps the spinach fresh for a longer time!!

Just thought I would share.

Hope to make this Tuesday Tips a regular thing!

Have you tried this?????

Oh my...I do that too! I also put my cilantro in a large ziplock with a papertowel and zip it up almost all the way. I leave about an inch open, but this helps the cilantro keep as well. Great tip!

Daughter, I believe your dad would think he invented this idea. He has been doing this trick since the first day we entered Costco's door!Mom

I just saw this for keeping mussels fresh, alive and dry.

Ha, that's funny, I do the same thing. I also do herbs if I buy them and don't use fast enough.
