RANDOM

Talk about random. That's how my mind is today.

Here goes.

I love school supplies. The #2 pencils and the fresh boxes of crayons. The little paint strip with a brush. The pencil top erasers and the spiral notebooks. A fresh package of lined paper and a new bottle of glue. Just to mention a few. I don't even have a school aged person to buy for, but I still look....and sometimes buy, new school supplies!!!

Mornings are darker now...UGH! I get up early...real early. I start my mornings with a work out at the Y. It's dark now for a lot longer. I don't like that. At all. It's going to be a long winter if I'm not careful. I need to try to be positive about the time change when it happens.

I want a KINDLE. You know, the hand held thing you read books on. I was sitting at the pool one day and the guy beside me was reading his Kindle. I was a tad bit jealous. So, I've told hubby I want that for Christmas. I'll let you know if I like it.

I am blessed. I was looking back at my beach pictures, reflecting on my trip and it struck me how very blessed I am. My family is NOT perfect. We have some very strong personalities and most of us are very opinionated, but we love each other very much. Do you know what a blessing it is to have family that loves and cares about you? I hope you have that.

These girls make my heart sing.

How about you?
What are YOUR random thoughts today?

My girls and I have always loved school supplies. Nothing better than new notebooks, pencils and crayons! Angela, you are right about having a loving family. What a blessing!! So many people do not have that joy in their life. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family too. I am enjoying my time in the mountains this week, although we aren't doing anything earth shattering. Just having fun being together and the weather has been so nice and cool. What a sweat picture of your darling grand babies. They are so precious and I always love seeing their adorable outfits. Love & blessings from NC!

Well, today I am very sad because Kanin started 1st grade. He was in half-day kindergarten last year so this is the first time he will be gone all day. I am not sad about the fact that he is in 1st grade, I am sad about the fact that some other woman, a stranger really, will see him more than I will:(

Such little cuties, love their dresses! I too have really noticed the darker mornings, and I don't like it at all!!! I do enjoy the fall weather though.

I applaud you for getting up early and going to the Y! Once upon a time I did that as well...loved it! Of course that was 18 years ago!! But I was in the best shape of my life then!! Now it's a major effort to try to exercise for only 30 minutes each morning!!

And I'm into colored markers...the kind you can write with!! Crazy, huh!? But love them!!

As always, your sweet grandbabies are precious!

I've decided rather than wanting a Kindle I want an iPad.

You ARE blessed being able to spend so much time with your family. Those girls are adorable!

Hugs,
Kat

Oh, how I love office and school supplies! The Best!!!

I have a Kindle. I like it OK, but it's just not a book. Something about holding the book, feeling the pages, smelling the glues...A book is better. IMHO
