It's The Little Things

I'll be honest. Being Nonny and Poppy has changed us. We see the world with new eyes. We so wish we had taken the time to see with these eyes when our own children were younger. Don't get me wrong. We spent lots of quality time with our children. We were all about family....We still are.

BUT, we did NOT appreciate a walk through Target with a *Fancy Nancy* outfit.

We do now.

And it is OH SO SWEET.

We Didn't :

We didn't push the shopping cart backwards....(just so Poppy could SEE baby *A* and how precious she is.)

We didn't take the time we wish we had for those little, every day things.

We didn't appreciate all the little things.

And most of the time................

It's the Little Things.

She is so precious and will look so adorable in her new outfit. How pretty!! I agree with you. Even though I don't have Grandchildren yet, I still savor each day and rejoice in the gifts God gives me each day of my life. As the old saying goes, " we all need to slow down and smell the roses"! Wonderful post, Angela, to remind us all to enjoy our blessings each and every day. Love & blessings from NC!

Amen my friend. My husband and I feel the same way. As much as you love your children and did your best with them, there is something so special about your grandkids. It really is the little things that matter most.

Oh so cute and such good advice. I tend to get so uptight sometimes and worry about schedules, etc. I should take a page out of your book. Thanks for the reminder. Those girls are so precious.

I'm so jealous! I wish my grandbabies lived close enough for me to see them more often. Enjoy...every.single.minute.

I had a sign in my office that said: TEACHERS MAKE THE LITTLE THINGS COUNT!

to be loved by them
I agree with everything you said (o:
Sometimes when I see a picture of one of my Granddaughters when they were tiny (The oldest is only eight) I feel like crying... because I can't have that minute back...can't hold and squeeze that baby again...ahh...it is like a sickness...the Grammy sickness (o: I love them sooooo much
