COUSIN CAMP 2010

Cousin Camp 2010 was at my house last week.

Two days. 98 degrees.
Six little children.

The oldest JUST turned four.
Two teenagers.

Eight of us big girls.
16 total.

Can you say FUN

Can you say CRAZY

Can you say LOVE?

These kids make my heart sing. They make me happy. They point me to Jesus and make me thankful. For the blessing of children. For the blessing of family. For the blessing of having someone to love. I love to sing to them....and they don't know I can't sing....so they love it too. I was pushing them in the hammock, making up a song as I pushed. In the song, I called each of their names. They waited for their name to be called. And they smiled. Just at the sound of their name. They don't know, but I call their names EVERY day. To the one who matters. To the one who takes care of them. To the one who blessed me with them. These cousins are growing up blessed. Because He hears their names. And HE loves them even more than I do. If you have a chance, have a cousin camp. You will be making memories they will never forget.

And neither will you.

COUSIN CAMP 2010.

I know I am blessed to have you as my wife and the mother of my children, but I can only hope and pray that one day these nieces and nephew and grand babies know how incredibly blessed they are to have you as aunt and nonny. I love how you love to make them happy. That is why I love you so much. You are so willing to give selflessly. I love you,zig

I have such wonderful memories of time spent with all my girl cousins growing up. As adults we get together and have girl trips in the summer and re-live the fun we had as children. It is so neat! I love the black and white picture of the children. And the matching outfits are so precious! I know you had a wonderful time, even if it was hot. Yes, you are so blessed to have such sweet little children in your life. And to pray for them is so special. I love the fact that it takes so little to make children that age so happy! That is what I used to love about teaching my 3 year olds. They loved just about everything we did and it was all so exciting to them. Have a great week. Love & blessings from NC!

What a great idea! My Littles don't have any cousins closer than 4 hours away, BUT, when they do come to visit, we WILL have a *Cousins Camp*! I am totally inspired to organize things a bit more and create a lasting memory for each of them...you are amazingly inspiring! Have a blessed week...
