I Waited As Long As I Could

If you know me, you know how much I LOVE my gas logs.

Love. Them.

If it is below 50 degrees, this is where you'll find me. A lot.

I know. I know. Some people only love a *real* fire.

But this, you can turn on in the early mornings before work.

You can turn them on right after a shower.

Or right before bedtime.

Plus, we sell them.

And I love them.

Do you???

I was just thinking yesterday of turning on our fireplace.....I could sleep in front of it. In fact, this past January during our big ice storm and no electricity, it was the only warm thing in the house!!

Your granddaughter's picture in your last post was adorable!! Love her outfit and those little shoes! Can't wait till Harper is that age to take her "out and about" !

Isn't it too wonderful for words??

I have lived with wood burning fireplaces and with a gas log fireplace and I liked them both, although there is no comparison with the convenience factor. I am just thrilled to be in front of any fireplace. Your bench is beautiful!

life is too short not to enjoy the things you love......whenever you wanna enjoy them whatever those things might be.....so burn your gas logs.... any and everytime you feel like it! :)

We spent the evening with our gas logs on too. I love them!!! We used to burn real wood, but that got to be so messy that we switched to gas logs. It is so much more convenient! Our dog loves them more than we do. She gets as close as she can without getting right in the fireplace. LOL! I love the cozy feeling of a fire. BRRR, it is cold here this weekend, so the gas logs feel good. Love & blessings from NC!

Love them. You know I used to be one of those who only appreciated a "real" fire but now I am all about convenience. We live in Houston and there are so few time you can have a fire going...so there is no real point in getting fire wood and going to all that trouble.
I need to convert our main fireplace...it has the hook up but need to figure out how to make it gas..where do you sell them?

YES! I cozy up in front of mine all winter. I had real fire at my last place and morned leaving the real wood behind. Then I came here and flipped on the switch...PERFECT. It grew right on me.

Yes...love them too! I have a gas fireplace in this house I turn it on with a light switch. It warms up the room a little...not the same as a regular gas log fireplace but it works!
