A Brown Paper Bag

I love a brown paper bag.
There is something so neat and old fashioned about one.

So, hubby brought breakfast to me at work last week.
The breakfast was in this brown paper bag.

It reminds me of early school days.
And rye sandwiches wrapped in waxed paper.
And penny candy from the candy store.

Everything is plastic now.
I'll take my paper bag.
Thank You.

I, too, love brown kraft paper bags. And, I love the paper itself. I wrap all my Christmas packages in it and add raffia or twine bows. You can buy a roll of contractors paper at Lowes that is huge and will last for several years. I also use the bags to serve out of sometimes.

And, I have 3 ceramic vases that are designed to look just like brown paper bag!

We have quite a lot of the same tastes in decor I'm finding out.

Have a great weekend!

Thanks for remembering the small joys in life! I remember brown paper lunch bags and wax paper to wrap sandwiches, too! (And, cafeteria milk in a bottle for (gulp) 2 cents.)
