It's Pinterest 's Fault..........

I browse Pinterest.
And I see things.
I'm not crafty.
But Pinterest makes me think I am.
And then I get the crazy idea that I can actually MAKE the stuff on there.
But then I come to my senses and I realize I can't.
So, I don't.

BUT,
I saw this today and I knew all it would take was $9.99 and some magnets that I already had.

So, I was off to buy an *oil drip pan*....in the automotive department at WalMarte'.
It's like a gigantic cookie sheet. I'm going to hang it on the playroom wall.

I'm not crafty, but I can spend $9.99!

Hey, that's MY kind of craft!!

I actually joined Pinterest a few weeks ago but haven't spent much time there yet. I just need to take 30 minutes sometime and just browse through and see how it's set up. Sounds like you enjoy it!

  8. When I taught pre-school, we used cookie sheets for magnet boards, but I love this huge oil pan. That is awesome and won't the grandkids love it!!! My 3 year old class loved magnetic letters. Love & blessings from NC!

  10. As a newly-retired Kindergarten teacher, I would suggest hanging it horizintally...this keeps it at the right height and allows side-by-side work to exist.

  11. Such fun catching up...my life has been wild lately!
Looks like a great time at the beach! How fun! That was something I always wanted to do before Mom died. Wonderful memories! Love the table. I found a school library table in an antique store here. It was filthy! I washed the top, and a lot of the gunk of many, many little children came right off! Now it's covered with paint again...but this time, it's mine!
I have used this idea with the magnets in Sunday Schoo with PS. Using Bible verses with little stick on magnets on the back. But, I've only used a cookie sheet. I did not even know they made those drip pans that big! The kids will love it!
