This is a Krispy Kreme Doughnut Burger.
It's FOR REAL.
They sold them this year at the Wisconsin Sate Fair.
At first I thought *UGH!*
But then I thought *Hmmm. Maybe the sweet and salty would be good together.*
Now, I KNOW this is bad for you. But besides that, what do you think? Would you try it? I think I would. The combination of sweet and salty might be good. (Not good FOR you. Just a good taste.)
Am I crazy?
Would you try it?
Doesn't really look appetizing to me, but who would have thought fried pickles would be good?
ReplyDeleteHmmmm...that's a hard question. I love burgers and I love KK donuts, but together?
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Kat
I would try it.. but I can't imagine I would love it!
ReplyDeleteNo, not me. A warm, fresh Krisp Kreme Donut is too near perfection to mess it up with anything!...except another KK...
ReplyDeleteI would try it. I'm always up for trying anything once. It just doestn't sound that good, even though I love sweet/salty things. Let us know if you try it. Love & blessings from NC!
ReplyDelete1. That donut burger is sheer CRAZINESS.
ReplyDelete2. I'm so glad you ordered the book!!! And at a great price!
I don't think I would try it because a really good Krispy Kreme is soft and don't like soft buns. I sure do like Krispy Kremes though. It's a good thing we don't have them around here.
ReplyDeleteDon't think I would be tempted to try that at all!!!
ReplyDeleteI have to admit it tempts me because I love Krispy Kreme's but not sure how good it would taste.
ReplyDeleteI would try it though.
Can't believe someone would mess with a warm, soft, glazed, KK doughnut! Sounds unamerican to me.
ReplyDeleteNow I could put two together and call it a sandwich...Mom
I think a KK Donut speaks for itself, don't mix it with a burger!! : )
ReplyDeletewe were just talking about this today at work. i think it seems gross. sorry:( i love cheeseburgers and donuts but not together...would you put ketchup and pickles on this?
ReplyDeletesaw these at the Wisconsin State Fair this year but I just couldn't bring myself to try it!
ReplyDeleteOh my word!!! I think my butt just got bigger looking at it. If your going to go all out, why not eat a hamburger and donut!?? Hehe. Xoxo-BLC
ReplyDeleteStrange! Who thinks of these things! Fair food never ceases to amaze me.
ReplyDeleteI would try it, but I don't think I would like it much.
I'm thinking you would definitely have to eat it with a fork...but since burgers are for picking up with your hands, I'm thinking the doughnut would crumble. I missed the DE State Fair this year but apparently they had fried cookie dough and I would try that in a heartbeat! Maybe the burger is like the cheerwine doughnut. 2 great things individually but not so great together.
ReplyDeleteIt looks gross to me! I think I like my meat and doughnuts separately! Let us know if you try it! :)
ReplyDeleteI'd try it then run on the treadmill for an hour..:)
ReplyDeleteEwww. :) I don't if I would try it, Cause if I didn't like it then it might ruin my love for the donut and the burger!!
