It's All About ME!!



Today is all about

ME!
I LOVE to do for other people.

It might be part of my love language.
I truly LOVE it.

BUT
It has been a tough winter.

We have worked....
A LOT.

Today I decided it is about me.

I am going to get a pedicure.

With a Diet Coke in my hand.


And I really want to sit in front of my gas logs and teach myself some new blog tricks.

I might not do ANYTHING else.
So, thank you Jesus for giving me this day.

I know it is TRULY about

YOU.

But today, I am *pretending*
that it's about

ME.

.....and I know YOU understand.

    I was thinking the same thing...at least about the pedicure/manicure. I hope I might can sneak away for a bit today from the hub and the girls and do just that. We will see though. A little harder when they are 9 and 3. :) Hope you have a wonderful day!!

    I am so with you on this one (except for the diet coke, I gave it up for lent)! My daughter is on a retreat and my husband is in Florida. The other kids know not to come over unless they are on fire. I have been looking forward to this day. I never have the house to myself, ever. I'm not going to leave the house except to shovel (again!) and deliver some homemade soup to a friend. Here's to a great day for both of us.

    I guess my "me" time will have to wait until after the wedding in May. Right now it's pretty much all about our daughter's big day.
