I CAN SEE!!!

I've never worn glasses or contacts. But, I'm 52 and my eyes couldn't read the phone book or the cake mix box. I had started wearing those magnifying glasses from The Dollar Store. They worked great but I got SOOOO tired of taking them on and off! I had a pair in every room. I had them in my car. I had them on my desk at work. "I do not like them Sam I Am!!!

So, I took the plunge. I visited the eye doctor and got contacts for old  people my far/near vision. My right eye has a contact for far away vision. My left eye has a contact for things up close.

The first morning I had them it took me 40 minutes to put them in.

NO KIDDING!

I was sweating and irritated. I've had them two weeks now and I'm an old pro!

Love them! Love them!

  4. I got my first contacts in September. Most days, they pop right in, but there are also days when they drive me crazy getting them in. Glad you are having any easy time of it now.

  5. So glad you have sight and are getting the hang of the contacts. So interesting that they can put one in each eye!

Hope you are having a fun weekend!

  6. I hate pulling my "readers" on and off too, especially when I am shopping or at Bible Study. I was thinking of checking into the contact thing too. I am glad to know it is working out for you.

  7. I've been wear contacts for years. One for up close and one for distance. Amazing technology, right?!

    Hugs!

  8. You only need one contact. One eye for reading and one for distance. I never wore glasses either. : - )
